Impression

Super-attentive staff, clearly having fun just hanging out together. Very eager to give the customer a good beer experience, and eager to hear the customer's judgment on the beers. I just wish the beers had more carbonation and flavor.

BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Pure Unadulterated Tomfoolery (5.6% abv) Not really a sour because it is too sweet. Works as a hard lemonade, though. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)

Beer 5: Nonchalance Oatmeal Stout (5.5% abv) Low carbonation here as well. This is an oat beer, but it is not big enough in flavor or power. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)

Beer 2: Diabolitician Hefeweizen (5.3% abv) Good flavor, but flat. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)

Beer 6: Jinger's Brown Ale (6.3% abv) Big brettanomyces, if you like that. Again, low carbonation. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)

Beer 3: Cold as.What What Doppelbock (9.2% abv) Very well done. Great floor of malt, with a good, but not overly intense coffee kick. Better carbonation than the other beers, though by now, I had tempered my expectations about carbonation at this brewery. Bitterness is also very unobtrusive, and incorporates well to the overall taste experience. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)

Beer 4: Hecho en USA Pale Lager (5.6% abv) Big lemon-drop flavor, but light and nice as a daily drinker. (Tasted at Bear Hands 7/3/21.)
