BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: 12:43 Pomagranate Sour (5.4% abv) Light, but good fruit flavor that lasts. Great carbonation. (Tasted at Clocktown Brewing 7/9/21.)

Beer 5: Time Flies Doppelbock (8% abv) Delicious, fresh, great amber taste. (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)

Beer 2: 12:43 Sucker for Blondes Belgian Blonde Ale (7.0% abv) A little too sweet on attack, with a banana flavor. Alcohol on back end, and some vague - and unfortunate - acetate on finish as well. But nice high-wire balance sustained by full malt and well-integrated tartness. Carbonation and body are also good. (Tasted at Clocktown Brewing 7/9/21.)

Beer 6: Back in 5 Session IPA (5% abv) "A Golf Course Beer," according to Clocktown marketers. And it is nice, not overpowering. Hits on all requirements refreshing, tasty, good carbonation. (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)

Beer 3: Furlough Hefeweizen (5.5% abv) Beautiful Bavarian Hefe. Nice foamy head. Almost a bit too much banana, but it works. Great balance between the fruit, body & carbonation. (Tasted at Clocktown Brewing 7/9/21.)

Beer 7: Double Time DIPA (8% abv) Delicious! Not overly juicy or hazy. Nicely balanced. (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)

Beer 4: Thomaston Lager German Pilsner (5.4% abv) Good, full-bodied beer. A not-unpleasant neutral taste. No unpleasant surprises (e.g., popcorn diacetyl or low flavor/carbonation). (Tasted at Clocktown Brewing 7/9/21.)
