Cold Creek Tavern
Impression
"Cold" describes this place pretty well. It's in a commercial strip surrounded by corn fields. The interior was more linoleum diner than beerpub, with an uncozy feel. Bartender was friendly enough, but didn't seem very present. They don't do flights, and their own Cold Creek beer is not available. Beer menu was filled with national & other CT breweries: Springdale, Cigar City, Mikkeller, Thimble Island, CT Valley, Bad Sons, Jack's Abby, Woodchuck (cider), Beer'd, Stubborn Beauty, and NEBCO. Just sort of a forgettable joint.
Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Hesperia NE/Hazy IPA (? abv) Cold, crisp, with good - not excessive - hoppiness. (Hesperia is from Labyrinth BrewCo, not Cold Creek.)
