Color Blind Artisanal Brewco
Impression
I enjoyed their beers at the CT Brewfest in October, 2021, but have not seen much of them since. All of their Facebook and Instagram posts appear quite dated, so I have to believe they are no longer in buisness.
Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Wu Tang Sour w/ Tangerines (6.5% abv) Delicious! Tangerine taste is pronounced; strong carbonation; light body; very refreshing. (Collaboration with Alvarium Brewing; Tasted at CT Brewfest, Oakdale Theater, 10/9/2021)
Beer 2: Polarized Raspberry Sour (6.0% abv) Great raspberry flavor, but slight wateriness on back palate. (Tasted at CT Brewfest, Oakdale Theater, 10/9/2021)
Beer 3: Iris Citra NEIPA (6.0% abv) Really flavorful. Not obnoxiously hoppy. A discrete introduction to IPAs. Good fruit, but not the annoying big fruit that characterizes the bigger IPAs. (Tasted at CT Brewfest, Oakdale Theater, 10/9/2021)
Beer 4: Dilated Eyes DIPA (8.1% abv). Bigger hoppy fruit, but still savory, not sweet. Beautifully balanced and restrained. Nice wheat; good carbonation. (Tasted at CT Brewfest, Oakdale Theater, 10/9/2021)
Beer 5: Polarized Blackberry (6.0% abv). Wow! Big flavor; good carbonation. Very tasty. A red grapefruit and mango flavor. Good rich base of malt. My favorite of the CBA beers. (Tasted at CT Brewfest, Oakdale Theater, 10/9/2021)
