Impression
Very dark and cool inside (on a hot day). In Norwich, three doors further down Main Street from These Guys. Beer menu is notable for its descriptive completeness.
Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Cash Rules Cream Ale (? abv) I liked this beer quite a bit. Technically very sound, but also fresh and not too earthy.
Beer 2: GBGB Cherry Sour (? abv) Black cherry and red sour cherry flavors. Delicious. Really balanced beer.
Beer 3: Bearded Baby Pale Ale (? abv) Great mango & passion fruit flavors, followed by a subtle pine flavor on back palate.
Beer 4: Farmhand American Pale Ale (? abv) Not really a farmhouse ale, but has blueberry finish. Very fresh, and quaffable - I could have had more than one of these.
Beer 5: Damned Yankee IPA (? abv) Pineapple and rose petal flavors really pop. Well done. I like a lot.
Beer 6: The Oregon pear IPA (? abv) Tasted like cake frosting. Disappointing. I expected more pear flavor.
