Impression

New Park has an atmosphere like a Hawaiian luau. It seems like the commissary in South Pacific. The owner even had a Hawaiian shirt on when I visited. The beer is really cold, which was nice.

BEERS TASTED

Beer 1:Vienna Lager (5.0% abv) Nice, not watery. Owner said it has a pretzel taste, and that's a very good descriptor. Good body, nice flavor. Nutty flavor. (Tasted at New Park Brewing 7/16/21.)

Beer 2:Foliation Pale Ale (5.0% abv) Tall head of foam. Big American Pale Ale flavor. Fairly big hop and fresh-flower flavors. (Tasted at New Park Brewing 7/16/21.)

Beer 3:Honey Child Farmhouse Ale / Honey Saison (6.0% abv) Big banana on nose. Nice, clear, clean, with a subtle glycerine fullness. (Tasted at New Park Brewing 7/16/21.)

Beer 4:Hopiary Imperial DIPA (8.0% abv) Big hoppy, especially on the attack. Full, thick, but doesn't cloy on the palate. Despite full appearance, went doen light. (Tasted at New Park Brewing 7/16/21.)
