BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Queen of Cups Trappist-inspired Dubbel (7.1% abv) Spicy, big ale, with a sweet-ish taste. Disjointed, watery, feels tired, not fresh. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)

Beer 5: Pride of Ridgefield English Golden (4.3% abv) Too bitter & somewhat ashy. Weak flavor. Medium body. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)

Beer 2: King of Swords Trappist-inspired Quadruple (10% abv) Big body, spice and flavor. More tart. However carbonation was low and beer was not lively. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)

Beer 6: Pride of Ridgefield English Golden, from manual pump. (4.3% abv) Watery compared to the tap version, and no carbonation at all. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)

Beer 3: Le Bûcheron Bière Ambrée (5.4% abv) Amber earthy, and tasty, but low carbonation made it unexciting. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)

Beer 4: Apocryphon Doppelbock (7.5% abv) Nice toast and body, but carbonation is once again off. Good, subtle coffee flavor, but sort of tired and boring. (Tasted at Nod Hill 4/13/23.)
