Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Golden Ingot Belgian Triple (8.5% abv) Cool, refreshing. Very cler, pale gold appearance. Good carbonation. Light on the palate (Tasted at Quirk Works 4/13/23.)
Beer 2: Interchangeable Fate Irish Red IPA (6.5% abv) Full-bodied. Unusual for a Red. Dry hopped. (Tasted at Quirk Works 4/13/23.)
Beer 5: Aged Beauty Imperial Old Ale (9% abv) Incomplete. Notes unavailable. (Tasted at Quirk Works 4/13/23.)
Beer 3: Impractical Logic Kellerbier (5.5% abv) 10% cheerios in the malt bill.Good carbonation. Light beer, but with body. Owner tells me that's due to Cheerios. Big head. Big yeastiness - I would say the unclarified, unpasteurized nature of a typical Kellerbier is on display here. Well done! (Tasted at Quirk Works 4/13/23.)
Beer 4: Alaskan Coconuts (5.7% abv) Big coconut on palate, and not much else. Good carbonation, as with all the beers here. Nice, full body and good acidity. Lively, fresh beer. (Tasted at Quirk Works 4/13/23.)
