Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Extra Creamee Fruited Sour (5.5% abv) Blueberry, raspberry and cheesecake flavor. (Tasted at 12% on 6/28/21.)
Beer 5: Plush ESB (by Marlowe, Mamaroneck, NY)(? abv) Märzen style, with marshmallowy malt. Good, but not wow. (Tasted at the Connecticut Brewfest, Oakdale theater, 10/9/21.)
Beer 2: Astro Trip Coffee Stout (7.0% abv) Colombian Supremo coffee, cacao, and cream. This skirts the boundaries of beer, but it was delicious. Big, huge carbonation. Like a milkshake. (Tasted at the Third Annual Summer Beerfest at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Waterbury 7/23/21.)
Beer 6: Nagging Curiosity Hoppy Blonde Ale (by Marlowe, Mamaroneck, NY) (4.2 abv) Very fresh, good carbonation, medium plus body. Nice, but hops a little too juicy. (Tasted at the Connecticut Brewfest, Oakdale theater, 10/9/21.)
Beer 3: Water Lily (6.0% abv) Collaboration with Tox Brewing. Sour blueberry, chocolate, marshmallow, and milk sugar. Big fruit, perfectly balanced, very tasty. Just not really beer. (Tasted at the Third Annual Summer Beerfest at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Waterbury 7/23/21.)
Beer 7: Watercolors Creamee-2 fruited Berliner Weiße. (5.5% abv) Mango, Guava, Marshmallow, Cream & Milk flavors. Spicy, with good carbonation for its type. Totally over-the-top creamsicle flavor, but it works. Delicious. But definitely a session beer, not a beer you want more.(Tasted at the Connecticut Brewfest, Oakdale theater, 10/9/21.)
Beer 4: Watercolors Creamee Sour Berliner Weiße (5.5% abv) Raspberry, Blueberry, Cheesecake, cream, and milk sugar. Not like any Berliner Weiße I've ever seen. Same as the Water Lily, but with milk and cream. I.e., a milkshake. Again - skirts the boundaries of beer. But by this time, I was really getting palate-fatigue. (Tasted at the Third Annual Summer Beerfest at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Waterbury 7/23/21.)
