Impression
A beautiful "fashionable warehouse" look to the large tasting room, which is U-shaped. An open view of the stainless steel vats and brewing equipment room, which is enclosed on its sides by large windows. The bar, also U-shaped, sits in the center of the room, and is made of rough wood. There are 12 taps available. Three parallel and two perpendicular long tables take up the space immediately below the bar four two-tops take up the south side of the room. The room is very clean, with ~24 foot ceilings, from whjch vents, pipes and steel structures hang, for an elegant industrial feel. The space is very comfortable and very airy. The ceiling is made of brand-new wood; the floor looks like it came from the original building. There is factory glass in the windows that face outside, some frosted and others clear, for a nice tile-like pattern. The brick is very nicely pointed and cleaned. Outside, there is a gravel patio with about 8 tables that seems quite popular.
BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Harvest Moon Märzen (6.1% abv) Good typicity, but flavor tapers off very quickly. Classic märzen: tan color and very nice, nutty flavors. (Tasted at Spacecat 10/9/21.)
Beer 2: Cosmic Candy Orange, Peach and Mango Fruited Gose (5.2% abv) Sea salt added. Orange, Peach & Mango in a sour dress. Quite good fruit. Not very salty, so I'm not sure about "Gose" title, but they do say "not as sour as traditional Gose," so I guess we're forewarned. Almost a savory flavor on finish. Goes down VERY easily. Almost dangerous... (Tasted at Spacecat 10/9/21.)
Beer 3: Sunswept Blonde Blonde/Golden Ale (5.2% abv) Not great carbonation. Has more caramel than I would expect rom a Blonde Ale, but it tastes good, all in all. (Tasted at Spacecat 10/9/21.)
Beer 4: Back to Earth Belgian Blonde Ale (5.2% abv) Some malty golden syrup on the finish, but not overwhelming. Some cinnamon and spice as the beer warms up. (Tasted at Spacecat 10/9/21.)
