ROUTE: I-91 South

Founded: 2016

Impression

Warm and inviting space (~1,500 square feet, so very intimate) with warehouse feel and nicely spaced tables and chairs, including 4 tables outside. Music is classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin, but played at a background level. Long, very nice bar, with very Bartender/Owner who is calm and friendly. The issue at Still Hill is beer that tapers off very quickly and low flavor.

BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Amber Resplendence Märzen (5.5% abv) Nutty, like a good Märzen should be, but flavor tails off, and there is not much carbonation. (Tasted at Still Hill 7/16/21.)

Beer 5: Rainy Day Band-aid Blues Czech Pilsner (5.4% abv) Bought as a can; unfortunately, no notes available. (Tasted at Still Hill 7/16/21.)

Beer 2: The Nut on the Hill English Brown Ale (5.5% abv) More flavor than the Amber Resplendence Märzen, and a little more carbonation, but not very complex or inspiring. (Tasted at Still Hill 7/16/21.)

Beer 3: Fruitatious Sourpuss Pineapple/Mango (5.5% abv) Pineapple and Mango is apparent, but tastes a bit like watered-down juice. (Tasted at Still Hill 7/16/21.)

Beer 4: Fruitatious Sourpuss Key Lime with Raspberry (5.5% abv) Good. Raspberry is a little weak, but strong enough to give a decent taste profile. (Tasted at Still Hill 7/16/21.)
