BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Crusher DIPA (8.0 abv) Amber-orange color; hazy to point of opaqueness; 1/2 cm. head that dies quickly. Undifferentiated palate: some citrus, some chocolate. Good carbonation and body throughout. Still, this beer is ultimately uni-dimensional, and all about the alcohol and hop juiciness with lingering hop bitterness. (Home tasting: 4/12/23.)

Beer 2: Focal Banger IPA (7.0 abv) Orange-amber color; opaque appearance; 1 cm. of foam, with decent lasting power. Orange/citrus aroma. Not a great deal of flavor, but body is full. Not much carbonation. Big bitter on finish. OK, but I don't get all the hooplah. (Home tasting: 4/12/23.)
