The Crossings
PUB
ROUTE: Quiet Corner
Founded: 2017
Impression
Seems like this should be a happening place, since it's in a converted RR station. The old entrance to the tracks goes into a beer garden. Cusomers did file in later, but place was completely dead before 3 PM. Nice brick walls, clean tasting room, with a marble bar. TVs everywhere, tuned to games, gives The Crossings a sports-bar feel.
BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Twin Brook Farm Saison (? abv) Refreshing, subtle, not over-the-top, spice. Well done.
Beer 2: Nutmeg Brown Ale (? abv) Clean. Has licorice o finish. Both this and T.B. Farm Saison are surprisingly nice.
Beer 3: Golden Monkey Belgian Golden Ale (? abv) From Victory BrewCo. Body, alcohol, carbonation, head, and malt are all spot on, but ultimately, spice overwhelms this beer. And spice tastes vaguely like bubble gum. Hmmm...
Beer 4: Cigar City Pale Ale (? abv) From Cigar City BrewCo, Tampa. Big hoppy. Nothing special. Disappointing.
