Impression
On Main Street in Norwich. Interior was a bit dark, but cool and relaxing, especially given hot day outside. Big and modern room, but with neighborhood feel. Only 10 customers at 4 PM on a Friday. Felt like a local crowd.
BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Kaiser Willy Oatmeal Stout (? abv) Coffee note is predominant. Technically well done, but nothing distinctive.
Beer 5: Local 892 Sup Porter (5.4% abv) Tasted at Jealous Monk, in Mystic, CT on 5/12/2025. Very nice body, full flavor, good carbonation.
Beer 2: TGBC Geekin' Out Mandarina, Bavaria & Styria-hopped IPA (? abv) Austrian-Munich Helles style. Well done, but not distinctive.
Beer 3: These Guys Make Me Blush Raspberry Sour Ale (? abv) BIG raspberry. Really good! Well made!
Beer 4: Myrtille Cream Ale with Raspberry Purée (? abv) Well made. Good amount of malt flavor, but not overblown. Good carbonation. Could have more blueberry flavor.
