BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Rye IPL (6.75% abv) Nice American Lager balance, full flavor, with a tiny touch of sweetness on back palate, but not unpleasant. (Tasted at Thomas Hooker Burlington 8/2/19.)

Beer 2: Farm to Can (6.0% abv) Made with Thrall Family malts. Light on flavor, even if otherwise good typicity. But after hearing the local angle and the Thrall Family buildup, this beer was somewhat disappointing. (Tasted at Thomas Hooker Burlington 8/2/19.)

Beer 3: Watermelon Ale (4.8 abv) Big watermelon flavor. Expected a sour beeer, but had good body, nice carbonation. Works well despite some flatness. (Tasted at Thomas Hooker Burlington 8/2/19.)

Beer 4: Revolver 002 Imperial Milk Stout (8.5% abv) Big coffee flavor, but it works. Lighter body, at least by comparison with a Guinness. No big malt or foam, but enjoyable. (Tasted at Thomas Hooker Burlington 8/2/19.)
