BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Iconoclast West Coast Pils (5.4% abv) Let's not kid anybody: "West Coast Pilsner" isn't even Frankenbeer. It's just very average IPA. (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)
Beer 2: Razzle-Dazzle Fruit Smoothie/Pastry Sour (6.0% abv) Very nice, with big raspberry flavor and some cream. Transcend's ceiling may be Smoothies, which is fine, because they are delicious. I don't know whether these beers are anything more than hybrids, but I can't deny that I enjoy them. Oops! I'm not a purist! Sue me! (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)
Beer 3: Pulp Addiction Berry Tart a la Mode Smoothie/Pastry Sour (8.0% abv) Creamier than the Razzle-Dazzle, and less tart. An excellent smoothie! (Tasted at CT Beer Festival, XL Center 4/22/23.)
