Huge garage, with open terrace in back and low and high tables. Good parking. Two big TVs indoors, large tap wall. 1970s Rock from speakers, including the Allman Brothers (always a favorite). Like many of my friends, I have always had a soft spot for Tribus, due to their excellent beers, that are a step or two above the Connecticut average. The keyword at this brewery is FRESHNESS.
BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Illford (6.8% abv) Incredibly sour. But supremely refreshing. This works! Whiskey-barrel aged, and whiskey shows up on back palate. Super fresh. (Tasted at Tribus 5/12/21.)
Beer 2: Biër (5.0% abv) Very straightforward, no-nonsense, Munich Helles. Very fresh. Bartender, Sean, says it's their staple & best-seller. A great beer. (Tasted at Tribus 5/12/21.)
Beer 3: Called Quest (7.0% abv) Delicious Porter. Akin to Guinness, but with bigger coffee flavor. REALLY nice. (Tasted at Tribus 5/12/21.)
