Beers Tasted

Beer 1: Calva Wheat Ale (7.0% abv) Almost sour ale. But with very subtle apple taste. Very complex. Not long. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 5: Prickly Pear Synopsis Fruited Sour Ale (6.4% abv) Wonderful beer: sour, but not sharply so, dropping off to good flavor intensity. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 2: Norwegian Farmhouse Ale with Kviek Yeast (5% abv) Low alcohol. Not high carbonation. Golden ale, malty, not hoppy. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 6: Whiskey Sour'd Ale (8.8% abv) Sour, like most of the experimental beers here, with whiskey taste lingering on finish. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 3: Kalamansi Lambic Style Citrus Ale (7.5% abv) Limes on attack. Mid-palate of Oranges, lemons, and Spanish Brandy. Very acidic sour. Extraordinarily complex. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 7: Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cherry Belgian Quadrupel Ale (14.0% abv) Big bourbon taste and residual cherry. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 4: Raspberry Peach Synopsis Fruited Sour Ale (6.5% abv) Very tart. But great raspberry on finish. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)

Beer 8: Rum Barrel-Aged Passion Fruit Gose (7.8% abv) Big rum. I enjoyed this iniitially, but on second tasting, I found it too sweet. (Tasted at Area 2 6/15/19.)
