Impression
Urban Lodge is just off Main Street in Manchester, Brand new, corporatist remodeling and a very clean tasting room with well-placed calming plants and an almost "new car" smell. Hallway on entering the buliding has windows looking onto brewing equipment. Tasting room has a beautiful wood bar and a front seating-bar under double windows that look onto Purnell Place. This bar sits under street level, and gives one the impression of a bottoms-up, low angle movie shot. Big outdoor terrace with clean tables outside.
BEERS TASTED
Beer 1: Stop & Go with Mango and Pineapple Session Sour Ale (4.5% abv) Pineapple really comes out. Good acidity. Tasty sour ale. (Tasted at Urban Lodge Manchester 7/16/21.)
Beer 2: Morning Mist Blonde / Golden Ale (4.9% abv) Basically mild beer that is refreshing, but without much head or carbonation. Still, coolness going down. (Tasted at Urban Lodge Manchester 7/16/21.)
Beer 3: Maui Hazy NEIPA Mosaic (6.5% abv) Low carbonation. Good flavor; not too dank. Lighter IPA style. (Tasted at Urban Lodge Manchester 7/16/21.)
Beer 4: Pop's Stout Milk Stout (5.0% abv) Big roasted coffee flavor that lasted throughout. Meager head and a touch of wateriness on the finish. (Tasted at Urban Lodge Manchester 7/16/21.)
