Beers Tasted
Beer 1: Feather (4% abv) Nice pilsner. Clean, slight fulness, like a Golden Ale. Good carbonation. The finish should have more oomph, and less of a taper to wateriness (Tasted at VT Beer Makers 2/24/22.)
Beer 2: Proper Extra Special Bitter (ESB) (5.7% abv) Nice, amber-brown color. Good carbonation. Very nice malt flavor tending toward caramel. Not a lot of bitter; more like a Munich Dunkel. (Tasted at VT Beer Makers 2/24/22.)
Beer 3: Shadows Stout (6.7% abv) Disjointed. Corn taste on finish. Vague coffee, but no real flavor. Decent carbonation. Nitro sensation on very end. (Tasted at VT Beer Makers 2/24/22.)
Beer 4: Apex 6 Lincoln Hazy NEIPA (6.5% abv) Really nice; very expressive; big tropical fruit, but never turns into a fruit juice. Attack and mid-palate are just average; only later, on finish, does the fruit really come on. (Tasted at VT Beer Makers 2/24/22.)
