BEERS TASTED

Beer 1: Petite Mort Apple Brandy Barrel-aged Saison (? abv) Saison with spice flavors, heightened by the brandy ageing. Great instinct to combine these two flavors. (Tasted at Woodbury 7/31/19.)

Beer 5: Get this Guy a Puppers Hoppy Amber / Red Ale (6.8% abv) No tasting notes available. (Tasted at "VIP Tasting Experience," Smokedown Farm 7/24/21.) Woodbury was the brewery of the tasting at Smokedown that day. Their beers showed beautifully.

Beer 2: Ich Bin Ein Berliner Weiße (? abv) Super tart. Not salty, like a Gose, but close in flavor. Surprising foam. Clean, good body. (Tasted at Woodbury 7/31/19.)

Beer 6: Haymaker Leichtbier (Light Beer) (3.8% abv) Delicous bitter, light but really tasty, excellent balance. Made with hay from the Hannan Farm in Woodbury & Southbury! Points for curiosity and inventiveness! Beautiful beer. (Tasted at "VIP Tasting Experience," Smokedown Farm 7/24/21.) Woodbury was the brewery of the tasting at Smokedown that day. Their beers showed beautifully.

Beer 3: NOMS Old Milk Stout (? abv) Well made. Maintains flavor throughout taste experience. Strong coffee flavors, but not cloying or off-putting. I like! (Tasted at Woodbury 7/31/19.)

Beer 4: Original Berman Pilsner (? abv) Good, big flavor! Great carbonation. Light, but well-made in all respects. Really nice refreshment. (Tasted at Woodbury 7/31/19.)
